Traffic Division
The Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department’s Traffic Division is responsible for overseeing motor vehicle crash reports and fatal and/or serious bodily injury motor vehicle crashes. All traffic complaints such as speeding, parking, and non-emergency issues can be directed to the Traffic Division. They conduct speed surveys and traffic data analysis.
The Traffic Division participates in numerous campaigns such as, AAA Pedestrian Crosswalk Safety, Click It or Ticket It, Distracted Driving, and DWI Checkpoints.
Fatal and serious bodily injury motor vehicle crashes are often investigated in conjunction with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit.
