The Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department recognizes Officer Kevin Rodrigo for National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Officer Rodrigo’s heritage derives from Colombia and Nicaragua.

He’s currently our only Spanish speaking officer. He has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and 6 years of experience as a police officer. He serves as a traffic officer and a bicycle unit officer.

When Officer Rodrigo is not patrolling the streets of Ho-Ho-Kus you may see him on tv traveling the world as a professional Teqball Referee or refereeing college soccer. He also enjoys playing soccer, hanging with his 10 year old son or going on adventures with his dog.

Thank you for bringing your skills and experiences to HHK!

Thank you for all you do for Ho-Ho-Kus!

I have never met officer Rodrigo but have seen him on HHK PD Facebook posts. But I knew officer Bodart (whom I heard retired) many years ago. He was a great person and a great police officer. I gave memories of interacting with him on Halloween 2000. I remember later learning that he could speak Spanish.

I know him long time ago. VERY PROUD OF HIM!!! Muy orgullosa!!!
