🇺🇸 Civil War Day at The Hermitage 🇺🇸Officers Owen Morrissey and Sammy Kim had the opportunity to visit The Hermitage during its annual Civil War Day, where history came to life right here in Ho-Ho-Kus.Living-history reenactors portrayed Civil War-era military life through period dress, encampments, military drills and historical displays, giving visitors a unique look at what life was like during this important chapter in American history.We’re fortunate to have The Hermitage — a National Historic Landmark with more than 250 years of history — right here in our community. 🚓🧽 A Clean Ride for a Great Cause!Today, our Ho-Ho-Kus Police vehicles got a little extra shine thanks to the 8th-grade students at Ho-Ho-Kus Public School!Our officers stopped by the annual 8th Grade Car Wash, where students were hard at work washing cars and raising funds to support their class activities, including graduation, dances, and their class trip.We were happy to support a great group of students — and drive away with some very clean police cars! 🚔✨Great job, 8th graders, and thank you for taking such good care of our rides! 💦🧽#hohokuspolice #hohokus #CommunityPolicing #lloydschool #hhk8thgrade
