NIXLE (Everbridge)

Nixle service is built on the most secure, reliable, and high-speed distribution platform, ensuring that you receive trusted and immediate, geographically relevant information. Information is immediately available over your cell phone by text message, by email, and over the web.

Whether it’s where you live, work, or have friends or family throughout the country, the information is immediately available to you over your mobile phone, email and computer.

Signing up for NIXLE Alerts on the NIXLE Website

  • Navigate to the NIXLE Website (https://www.nixle.com/)
  • Enter the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus Zip Code (07423), then click “Go!”
  • Click, “Sign Up”
  • Enter your email, new password, full name, language, phone number, and select whether you want to receive voice messages via cell phone or home phone.
  • Click, “I Accept. Sign me Up”
  • You will receive a text message from “888777”.
  • On your phone, text “YES” to the number 888777 to opt in.
  • Complete demographic information.
  • Now you receive text messages of alerts/events from the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus.

Signing up for the NIXLE (Everbride) Via Smartphone

  • Download the “Everbridge” App from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Click, “Allow” or “Don’t Allow” for the app to send you notifications for alerts.
  • Click, “Find an organization or subscription.
  • Enter, “07423” as your Zip Code
  • Subscribe to “Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus”
  • Enter your first and last name when subscribing, then click “Submit”
  • Now you will receive notifications from the Everbridge App.
