Last Friday, members of the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department were joined by Bergen County Sheriff’s Officer Robert Marini and K-9 Nala for a special visit with the Ho-Ho-Kus School kindergarten classes. Officers showcased the SWAT vehicle, and K-9 Nala while teaching students about the role of law enforcement and the many responsibilities officers perform each day. We always enjoy opportunities to connect with our youngest community members and help build positive relationships between children and the police.
PUBLIC NOTICE
The Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of its program to achieve accreditation by verifying that it meets recognized professional best practices.

THE BLUE ENVELOPE PROGRAM
The Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department announces a new program to help people with Autism Spectrum Disorder during a traffic stop. It is called the Blue Envelope Program. Please visit here for further information and how to participate.
